Description
Provide quick, friendly service by taking orders, preparing and assembling menu items, and serving food and beverages in a fast-food setting. Operate POS and drive-thru, handle payments, maintain cleanliness, and follow food safety and speed-of-service standards as part of a team.
- • Greet guests and take orders at the counter, kiosk, or drive-thru.
- • Confirm order accuracy and note special requests or dietary needs.
- • Enter orders in the POS system and process cash, card, and digital payments.
- • Make change and issue receipts; balance the cash drawer when assigned.
- • Assemble and serve food, beverages, and desserts for dine-in, takeout, and drive-thru.
- • Prepare simple menu items following recipes, safety, and sanitation procedures.
- • Brew coffee and tea; prepare fountain drinks, shakes, and iced beverages.
- • Operate fryers, grills, ovens, and holding equipment safely.
- • Wrap, bag, and label orders for dine-in and takeaway or delivery.
- • Add condiments, relishes, and garnishes per order specifications.
- • Send orders to the kitchen and communicate special orders or shortages.
- • Stage completed orders and pass them to guests or delivery partners.
- • Monitor and restock food, packaging, condiments, and service supplies.
- • Receive, rotate, and store deliveries; report low or out-of-stock items.
- • Clean and sanitize counters, steam tables, equipment, and smallwares.
- • Wash dishes, glassware, and utensils; return clean items to stations.
- • Sweep, mop, and remove trash to keep dining, service, and kitchen areas sanitary.
- • Set up, restock, and clear dining areas; wipe tables and trays.
- • Replenish items at serving and self-service stations.
- • Follow food safety, hygiene, and temperature control standards.
- • Communicate with customers and resolve questions, comments, or complaints.
- • Meet speed-of-service and order accuracy goals; use headsets to coordinate with the team.
- • Assist with training new team members on stations and procedures.
- • Perform additional duties as directed by shift leaders or managers.
