Take orders and serve snacks and beverages at concession stands in venues like stadiums, arenas, theaters, and parks. Operate POS systems, handle payments, prepare basic menu items, and keep the stand clean, stocked, and safe.
  • • Keep service, prep, and storage areas clean and organized.
  • • Monitor inventory and restock cups, lids, condiments, and products.
  • • Brew coffee and tea and dispense fountain and bottled beverages.
  • • Manage lines and serve quickly during peak event times.
  • • Collect and stage used trays, pans, and containers for washing.
  • • Wash dishes, pans, and small concession equipment.
  • • Wrap or box items for takeout and portion snacks.
  • • Communicate with guests about menu items, orders, wait times, and concerns.
  • • Accept cash and card payments and make change as needed.
  • • Clean and sanitize counters, equipment, and utensils.
  • • Sweep, mop, take out trash, and wash wares to maintain sanitation.
  • • Count cash drawers and balance receipts at opening and closing.
  • • Record orders and compute totals using POS or order pads.
  • • Serve snacks, beverages, and prepackaged items at stands or carts.
  • • Prepare simple foods and drinks such as popcorn, hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, coffee, and tea using safe practices.
  • • Notify leads or kitchen of low stock, shortages, or special requests.
  • • Prepare and serve cold drinks, slushes, or frozen treats using machines.
  • • Select items from warmers or coolers and assemble orders in bags or trays.
  • • Refill warmers, condiment stations, and self-serve areas.
  • • Help train new stand workers when assigned.
  • • Provide claim tickets or order numbers to identify filled orders.
  • • Stage and hand off prepared food to runners or front counter.
  • • Set up stands before events and break down and clean after events.
  • • Add condiments, toppings, and garnishes per order.
  • • Relay orders to prep areas and pick up completed items for service.
  • • Arrange stand signage, menus, and displays as instructed.
  • • Prepare and deliver preordered meals to suites or guests with special dietary needs as directed.
