Description
Provide fast, friendly service in a quick-service restaurant by taking and entering orders, preparing and serving food and beverages, operating POS and cash, maintaining cleanliness, and following company and food safety standards.
- • Greet customers and take orders at the counter or drive-thru.
- • Enter orders into the POS, compute totals, and issue receipts.
- • Accept payments by cash or card and make change accurately.
- • Assemble and serve food, beverages, and desserts per specifications.
- • Prepare daily menu items and cook simple foods using safe, sanitary methods.
- • Brew coffee and tea; pour and package beverages as requested.
- • Prepare and serve cold drinks, shakes, or frozen desserts using approved machines.
- • Wrap and package menu items for dine-in or takeout.
- • Add condiments, relishes, and garnishes as ordered.
- • Select items from holding or storage and stage them on trays or in bags.
- • Expedite, bag, and hand out completed orders promptly.
- • Notify kitchen or manager of shortages, special orders, or equipment issues.
- • Monitor stock levels; restock stations and alert management for reorders.
- • Clean and sanitize counters, steam tables, equipment, and smallwares.
- • Perform sweeping, mopping, and trash removal to keep areas sanitary.
- • Wash dishes, utensils, and cookware; return wares to proper locations.
- • Clean and organize dining room, service line, and kitchen areas.
- • Set up and maintain dining area, condiment bars, and drink stations; clear tables.
- • Replenish foods at serving or holding stations as directed.
- • Collect trays and return dirty wares to the dish area.
- • Balance cash drawer or receipts when assigned; follow cash-handling policies.
- • Assist with opening, closing, and shift change duties.
- • Follow food safety, allergen, and hygiene procedures.
- • Assist in training new team members as directed.
