Description
Handle receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods in a warehouse. Move and stage materials by hand or with basic equipment while maintaining inventory accuracy and safety.
- • Read pick lists, work orders, or RF scanner instructions to determine assignments.
- • Receive inbound shipments; verify counts, match paperwork, and inspect for damage.
- • Print and apply barcodes, labels, and shipping tags to items, totes, or pallets.
- • Move and stage freight and stock between docks, storage, and production areas by hand or with pallet jacks or forklifts.
- • Sort orders and shipments by destination, priority, or route.
- • Pick items from racks or bins and build orders accurately.
- • Assemble boxes, pallets, or crates and pack orders with appropriate materials.
- • Repack or rework damaged or returned goods as needed.
- • Secure loads with wrap, strapping, dunnage, or padding to prevent shifting.
- • Update inventory counts and order status in the WMS or on production logs.
- • Load and unload trucks or containers safely and efficiently.
- • Maintain clean, organized aisles, bins, and equipment storage areas.
- • Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts) and perform basic checks or battery charging.
- • Follow safety procedures and use required PPE.
