Description
Perform manual labor to move materials, clean and prepare work sites, and assist trades or production teams. Duties include loading and unloading, staging supplies, operating hand tools and light equipment, and maintaining safe, organized work areas.
  • • Label materials, tools, or equipment for identification.
  • • Read work orders or follow oral instructions to determine tasks and material needs.
  • • Record quantities of materials used or moved on daily logs.
  • • Move materials and debris to and from work areas by hand or with dollies or pallet jacks.
  • • Sort and stage materials and tools for upcoming tasks.
  • • Assemble or dismantle simple structures, forms, or pallets using hand tools.
  • • Pack, wrap, or secure materials and equipment for storage or transport.
  • • Carry tools and supplies from storage or trucks and return them after use.
  • • Set up barricades, temporary fencing, or protective coverings to safeguard work areas and materials.
  • • Maintain clean, organized, and secure storage and work areas.
  • • Attach slings or rigging and guide loads during lifts under supervision.
  • • Operate hand tools and light equipment (e.g., wheelbarrows, compactors, jackhammers) as directed.
  • • Set up power tools, hoses, and extension cords in accordance with safety procedures.
