Description
Manually pack, load, move, and unload household or office goods for residential and commercial relocations. Use dollies and other equipment to protect items, disassemble/reassemble furniture, and perform basic site cleanup.
- • Read move orders or receive instructions to determine items, rooms, and special handling needs.
- • Attach labels or inventory tags to boxes, furniture, and rooms.
- • Pack household or office goods using boxes, padding, and protective materials.
- • Disassemble and reassemble furniture and equipment with hand tools.
- • Wrap, pad, and strap items to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
- • Move items to and from rooms, buildings, storage areas, and trucks using dollies, hand trucks, and lifting straps.
- • Load and unload trucks; stack and secure cargo to maximize space and stability.
- • Sort items by destination, room, or priority before loading and unloading.
- • Record item counts, condition, and job details on inventories, checklists, or mobile apps.
