- • Consult with customer engineers and maintenance staff to resolve technical issues.
- • Monitor equipment performance and utilization at customer sites to identify opportunities.
- • Advise on safety, compliance, and proper use, including guarding, OSHA, and waste handling.
- • Present information on energy efficiency, sustainability, and environmental impacts of equipment.
- • Promote and sell equipment with energy-saving or environmentally responsible designs.
- • Prepare and submit sales contracts, purchase orders, and RFP/RFQ responses.
- • Contact new and existing industrial accounts to discuss solutions for their applications.
- • Assist customers in selecting machines and configurations that meet specifications, codes, and budgets.
- • Verify delivery and installation schedules align with project milestones or shutdowns.
- • Identify prospects via industry directories, referrals, plant visits, and trade show leads.
- • Advise customers on machine setup and operation to improve throughput and quality.
- • Study manuals, drawings, and updates for new machinery and automation products.
- • Attend trade shows and industry meetings to track market trends, technology, and regulations.
- • Sell preventive maintenance agreements, spare parts packages, and service contracts.
- • Demonstrate machinery operation at customer sites, demo centers, or virtually.
- • Launch targeted sales campaigns to meet territory goals and quotas.
- • Verify accuracy of bills of materials, configurations, and site utilities requirements.
- • Verify customer credit, financing approvals, or lease terms.
- • Distribute brochures, case studies, and demo materials.
