Description
Create and manage a positive public image for organizations, brands, or executives through media relations, content development, and strategic communications across traditional and social channels.
  • • Lead or support crisis and issues communications and response.
  • • Handle media inquiries or direct them to the appropriate spokesperson.
  • • Build and maintain relationships with media, community, consumer, employee, and public interest groups.
  • • Coordinate with creative and production teams to develop PR materials and promotions.
  • • Plan and manage public appearances, events, and activations to drive awareness and goodwill.
  • • Develop PR strategies aligned with business objectives to shape public opinion and support initiatives.
  • • Advise leaders on trends, stakeholder concerns, and communications implications.
  • • Partner with marketing and agencies to integrate PR into multichannel campaigns.
  • • Coach spokespeople and executives on effective media and stakeholder communication.
  • • Draft speeches, talking points, and remarks for events and interviews.
  • • Coordinate sponsored content or paid media placements when appropriate.
  • • Monitor media coverage, conduct audience and sentiment research, and report insights.
  • • Develop PR campaigns for products, services, initiatives, or causes.
  • • Create communications highlighting corporate responsibility, public safety, or other social impact efforts.
  • • Write and distribute press releases, media pitches, and briefing materials.
  • • Manage programs that maintain favorable public, customer, and investor perceptions.
  • • Prepare and edit newsletters, reports, and other publications for internal and external audiences.
  • • Manage and update the website newsroom and social media channels.
