Description
Build and sustain positive relationships between the organization and its surrounding communities. Coordinate outreach, partnerships, events, and communications across channels to strengthen goodwill, address community concerns, and support corporate social responsibility.
  • • Respond to inquiries from community members and stakeholders or route them to the appropriate spokesperson.
  • • Establish and maintain partnerships with neighborhood groups, nonprofits, schools, and civic organizations.
  • • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to produce outreach materials and event collateral.
  • • Plan and host community meetings, volunteer events, workshops, or booths to promote goodwill and awareness.
  • • Assess organizational goals and community needs to develop community engagement strategies and calendars.
  • • Advise leadership on community trends, concerns, and opportunities that may affect programs or projects.
  • • Collaborate with marketing staff to align community outreach with broader campaigns and messaging.
  • • Prepare staff and volunteers to represent the organization effectively at community events.
  • • Draft talking points and present updates at community forums or stakeholder meetings.
  • • Manage community sponsorships and promotional placements to support outreach initiatives.
  • • Gather and analyze community feedback through surveys, listening sessions, and meetings; report insights to management.
  • • Coordinate community notifications and responses related to local issues, projects, or incidents.
  • • Develop outreach campaigns for community programs, services, or initiatives.
  • • Create materials highlighting corporate social responsibility, public safety, and community benefit activities.
  • • Write community updates, newsletters, and announcements for distribution across channels.
  • • Plan and communicate community programs that build trust and demonstrate the organization's commitments.
  • • Prepare and edit community-facing publications and internal briefing materials.
  • • Maintain community pages on the website and social media; post event information, resources, and responses.
