Description
Supervise and coordinate labor crews performing manual material handling, loading/unloading, and site support. Assign work, monitor quality, enforce safety, and meet productivity and schedule targets.
- • Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staffing and respond to workload changes.
- • Coordinate daily activities and resolve work-related issues with workers and managers.
- • Monitor work in progress and upon completion to verify quality and compliance.
- • Communicate, clarify, and distribute work orders and job instructions to crews.

- • Inspect tools, vehicles, and equipment for condition and compliance with specifications.
- • Address personnel concerns and grievances or elevate them when necessary.
- • Recommend promotions, transfers, training, or disciplinary actions.
- • Identify training needs and arrange or deliver instruction.
- • Coordinate material movements and shipment schedules with logistics and carriers.
- • Provide labor and service price quotes or estimates to customers when required.
- • Estimate labor, materials, and time requirements based on job specifications and experience.
- • Assist with budget tracking, cost control, and development of unit procedures.
- • Inspect job sites to assess maintenance, cleanup, or repair needs.
- • Participate in recruiting and hiring through screening, interviews, and recommendations.
- • Manage inventory of supplies and request or purchase replenishments.
- • Enforce safety policies and ensure proper use of PPE and equipment.
