Description
Sell and manage non-technical wholesale or manufactured products to business customers, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting and demos through contracting, delivery coordination, and account growth. Requires strong product knowledge and relationship management.
  • • Answer client questions on products, pricing, availability, applications, shipping, and credit terms.
  • • Recommend solutions and product assortments based on each account’s needs and goals.
  • • Prospect, qualify, and schedule meetings with new and existing business customers.
  • • Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to decision-makers and buying teams.
  • • Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and bid responses tailored to customer requirements.
  • • Estimate and negotiate prices, contract terms, warranties, and delivery schedules.
  • • Prepare sales contracts, order forms, and required documentation.
  • • Coordinate order entry, fulfillment, delivery, and, when applicable, installation with operations.
  • • Provide post-sale support, resolve issues, and drive reorders and renewals.
  • • Provide samples, catalogs, and digital collateral to support purchasing decisions.
  • • Research and identify prospects through directories, referrals, networking, and trade events.
  • • Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to position products and pricing.
  • • Maintain accurate pipelines, forecasts, and account notes in the CRM; prepare sales reports and expenses.
  • • Verify customer credit and payment terms in collaboration with finance.
  • • Track inventory and lead times; communicate backorders and alternatives to clients.
  • • Plan promotions with key accounts and advise on merchandising and advertising programs.
  • • Negotiate product placement, volume commitments, rebates, and promotional allowances with accounts.
  • • Meet or exceed territory sales targets and KPIs.
