Description
Sell and distribute manufacturers' products to retailers and business customers; manage channels, inventory, and logistics; requires strong knowledge of product lines and markets.
- • Answer customers' questions about products, pricing, availability, delivery options, and terms.
- • Recommend product assortments and solutions based on customer needs and sales data.
- • Contact current and prospective accounts to present lines, explain features, and secure orders.
- • Estimate or quote prices, volume discounts, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery schedules.
- • Provide post-sale support, resolve issues, and manage returns or replacements.
- • Prepare proposals, estimates, and bids aligned to customer specifications.
- • Provide samples, catalogs, and digital line sheets to buyers.
- • Identify new accounts via directories, referrals, trade groups, and industry events.
- • Coordinate warehousing, delivery, and installation with logistics partners when applicable.
