Represent manufacturers to distributors, retailers, and business customers; sell assigned product lines, manage territories, and support channels, requiring strong product knowledge and adherence to manufacturer policies.
- • Represent assigned product lines to dealers, distributors, and business accounts.
- • Prospect and qualify new channel partners and customers within the territory.
- • Conduct line presentations and product demonstrations to decision-makers.
- • Answer questions on products, pricing, availability, terms, and programs.
- • Recommend assortments and solutions based on customer needs and market fit.
- • Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and bids per manufacturer guidelines.
- • Negotiate pricing, contract details, and payment terms within authorized limits.
- • Submit and track purchase orders with manufacturers; confirm ship and delivery dates.
- • Coordinate delivery, installation, or setup with customers and installers.
- • Provide samples, catalogs, price lists, and merchandising materials.
- • Advise on planograms, product displays, promotions, and co-op advertising.
- • Train dealer sales teams on product features, positioning, and policies.
- • Monitor market conditions, competitors, and product innovations; report insights to manufacturers.
- • Maintain CRM records, sales forecasts, call reports, and expense reports.
- • Support customers after sale, resolving issues, RMAs, and warranty claims.
- • Facilitate customer credit approvals through manufacturer processes.
- • Review stock levels at key accounts and recommend reorders and assortments.
- • Attend trade shows, open houses, and industry events to drive demand.
- • Ensure brand and MAP policy compliance at retail and online.
- • Achieve sales targets and territory growth objectives.
