Description
Field-based B2B salesperson who visits customers and prospects within an assigned territory to sell wholesale or manufactured goods. Builds relationships, presents solutions, and closes orders while managing the full sales cycle and applying strong product knowledge.
  • • Answer customer questions on products, pricing, availability, applications, and credit terms during on-site visits and calls.
  • • Recommend solutions based on customer needs and site conditions.
  • • Schedule and conduct on-site demos and presentations for accounts and prospects to solicit orders.
  • • Prepare and deliver quotes, terms, warranties, and delivery timelines.
  • • Follow up after sales to resolve issues and provide ongoing support, including site visits as needed.
  • • Develop tailored proposals, estimates, and bids to meet customer specifications.
  • • Distribute samples, catalogs, and collateral during visits and events.
  • • Prospect within the territory using directories, referrals, networking, and trade shows.
  • • Coordinate delivery, scheduling, and on-site installation with operations and the customer.
  • • Monitor local market conditions, product innovations, and competitor activity.
  • • Maintain CRM records, forecasts, and expenses; plan territory activities to achieve targets.
  • • Obtain and submit customer credit information per company policy.
  • • Enter and forward orders to fulfillment and manufacturing.
  • • Track stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to supply and purchasing teams.
  • • Set up or advise on in-store product displays and promotional programs for retail accounts.
  • • Negotiate placement, promotions, and merchandising with retail and distributor partners.
  • • Prepare sales contracts, order forms, and required documentation.
  • • Negotiate contract details, pricing, and payment terms within guidelines.
