Description
Sell products to business customers for wholesalers or manufacturers, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. Requires strong product knowledge and understanding of client operations to deliver solutions and meet revenue goals.
  • • Answer business customers' questions about products, pricing, availability, uses, and payment terms.
  • • Recommend solutions aligned to customer needs, budgets, and timelines.
  • • Prospect and contact new and existing business accounts to present offerings and solicit orders.
  • • Deliver product demos and presentations to decision-makers and buying committees.
  • • Prepare and quote prices, volume discounts, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery schedules.
  • • Draft and process proposals, sales contracts, and order forms.
  • • Coordinate order entry, fulfillment, delivery, and installation with operations and logistics.
  • • Follow up after sales to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues, and uncover upsell or renewal opportunities.
  • • Provide samples, catalogs, and digital collateral to support purchasing decisions.
  • • Research markets, accounts, and competitors to identify opportunities and inform positioning.
  • • Build and maintain a pipeline, forecast sales, and report performance against targets.
  • • Maintain accurate CRM records, account plans, and expense reports.
  • • Qualify leads, including obtaining credit information and assessing buying authority and budget.
  • • Develop and execute territory or account plans, including outreach campaigns and trade show participation.
  • • Collaborate with marketing on promotions, merchandising, and product placement for channel partners.
  • • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with customers and internal teams.
  • • Forward orders and special requests to manufacturers or suppliers and track status.
  • • Negotiate deal terms, including pricing, service levels, and payment schedules.
