Description
Help job seekers overcome barriers and secure sustainable employment by assessing skills and needs, creating individualized employment plans, delivering job readiness coaching, coordinating training and services, and building employer partnerships for placement and retention.
- • Monitor and document clients’ job search, training, placement, and retention progress against goals.
- • Meet with clients to clarify career goals and develop individualized employment plans and service strategies.
- • Prepare and maintain accurate case files, eligibility documentation, service notes, and outcome records.
- • Arrange skills, vocational, and other assessments to inform planning and service delivery.
- • Analyze interviews, work history, assessments, and collateral information to identify strengths, barriers, and service eligibility.
- • Develop employment plans that align clients’ aptitudes, experience, accommodations, and labor market demand.
- • Provide job readiness services, including resume development, applications, and interview preparation.
- • Maintain regular contact with clients and employers during training and onboarding to resolve issues and support retention.
- • Build and sustain relationships with employers, workforce boards, schools, and community partners for referrals and opportunities.
- • Identify barriers such as transportation, childcare, legal issues, or accessibility, and implement strategies and referrals to mitigate them.
- • Coordinate job coaching, reasonable accommodations, and assistive technology to support workplace success.
- • Collaborate with clinicians, case managers, educators, and vocational rehabilitation professionals to coordinate services.
- • Use labor market data and assessment results to guide job matching and service recommendations.
- • Lead job development and placement efforts by sourcing openings, marketing candidates, arranging interviews, and tracking outcomes.
- • Engage families or support networks, when appropriate, to reinforce employment and retention goals.
- • Partner with community agencies to create training pipelines, work experiences, and supportive services.
- • Manage service budgets or authorizations and, when assigned, supervise employment services staff.
