Description
Own and manage residential or small commercial rental properties, handling leasing, tenant relations, rent collection, maintenance, budgeting, and legal compliance to protect asset value and provide safe, habitable housing.
- • Show vacancies to prospective tenants and explain lease terms, policies, and neighborhood information.
- • Advertise and market vacant units through listings, signage, and leasing agents.
- • Screen applicants, verify income and references, and select tenants in compliance with fair housing laws.
- • Prepare, negotiate, and execute leases, addenda, and required disclosures.
- • Collect rent, fees, and security deposits; issue receipts and manage delinquencies.
