Description
Manage and optimize online retail operations across e-commerce platforms and marketplaces, covering product catalog, pricing, merchandising, digital marketing, analytics, and order workflows; coordinate with supply chain, customer service, and IT to drive sales, conversion, and customer satisfaction while ensuring data integrity, security, and profitability.
  • • Attend industry webinars, forums, or conferences to stay current on e-commerce trends, tools, and security.
  • • Upload and manage product media (images, video, 360, PDFs) across storefronts and marketplaces.
  • • Coordinate with buying and planning teams to maintain optimal assortment and inventory levels.
  • • Monitor stock status, backorders, and replenishment across channels; trigger updates as needed.
  • • Align e-commerce initiatives with retail, wholesale, or catalog operations for an omnichannel customer experience.
  • • Set and update product prices, promotions, and coupons in line with margin targets.
  • • Publish and maintain accurate store policies, terms, and merchant information on all channels.
  • • Configure and optimize transactional emails, including order and shipping confirmations.
  • • Manage order workflows, invoicing, and fulfillment status in OMS/ERP systems.
  • • Maintain customer account data in CRM, ensuring accuracy, consent, and segmentation readiness.
  • • Coordinate creation of promotional assets with creative teams and vendors.
  • • Collaborate with SEO/SEM and shopping feed specialists to place and optimize content.
  • • Resolve order exceptions, cancellations, and delivery issues with customers and partners.
  • • Deliver digital products or downloads to customers when applicable.
  • • Evaluate and select e-commerce platforms, hosting, payment gateways, apps, and integrations.
  • • Execute and optimize campaigns via email, affiliates, social, and online advertising.
  • • Coordinate fulfillment with warehouses, 3PLs, drop-ship, or print-on-demand partners to meet SLAs.
  • • Analyze site, funnel, and campaign performance using analytics tools; recommend tests and improvements.
  • • Research suppliers, marketplaces, and emerging categories to expand product offerings.
  • • Perform market and competitor analysis to identify pricing and merchandising opportunities.
  • • Manage marketplace listings, variations, and promotions on channels like Amazon, Walmart, or eBay.
  • • Implement security, privacy, and fraud-prevention practices; support PCI and data protection compliance.
  • • Manage domains, DNS, redirects, and SSL certificates for e-commerce properties.
  • • Contribute to e-commerce roadmaps and business plans covering assortment, pricing, inventory, and marketing.
  • • Optimize product placement, taxonomy, filters, and on-site search to maximize discoverability.
  • • Configure and refine storefront templates, navigation, and checkout settings to improve UX.
  • • Handle customer inquiries and escalations in coordination with customer service teams.
  • • Produce or coordinate product photography, videography, and image editing to brand standards.
  • • Configure tax and shipping rules; validate order totals and delivery options.
  • • Administer payment gateways and fraud tools; reconcile transactions with finance.
  • • Write and optimize product copy, metadata, and on-site banners for SEO and conversion.
  • • Partner with procurement on buying plans, vendor setup, and replenishment cadence.
  • • Create accurate product titles, bullets, attributes, and specs for all selling channels.
  • • Build and distribute sales, margin, inventory, and channel performance reports; forecast demand.
