E-Commerce Coordinator

Description
Coordinate day-to-day e-commerce operations for an online retail business. Manage product catalogs, pricing, promotions, site merchandising, and marketplace listings; monitor inventory and orders; and coordinate fulfillment and customer communications. Support marketing and analytics, ensure platform and data compliance, and maintain accurate financial and operational records.
  • • Coordinate returns, exchanges, and refunds with the warehouse and customer service.
  • • Monitor e-commerce trends, platform updates, and security issues via webinars or forums.
  • • Upload and manage product images, videos, and assets in the CMS/PIM.
  • • Set up SKUs and coordinate assortment changes with merchandising and buying teams.
  • • Track stock levels and update availability, back-in-stock, and preorder statuses.
  • • Liaise with warehouse or 3PL to maintain shipping supplies and packaging standards.
  • • Merchandise categories and the homepage to maximize product exposure and conversion.
  • • Update base pricing, promo pricing, and MAP compliance across channels.
  • • Publish and maintain store policies, shipping terms, and return information.
  • • QA and trigger order, shipment, and delivery notifications.
  • • Create and reconcile orders, invoices, and RMAs in the OMS/ERP.
  • • Maintain accurate customer and order records in CRM/OMS while adhering to privacy policies.
  • • Coordinate with SEO/SEM teams and manage product feeds to shopping engines and marketplaces.
  • • Process order edits or cancellations prompted by customers or inventory constraints.
  • • Manage digital goods fulfillment and license or download delivery when applicable.
  • • Coordinate with IT and vendors on platform services, payment gateways, and integrations.
  • • Execute onsite promotions, email merchandising, and paid campaigns per marketing calendar.
  • • Route orders to warehouse, drop ship, or 3PL and monitor SLA performance.
  • • Analyze site traffic, search, conversion, and merchandising KPIs and recommend actions.
  • • Research competitors, products, and keywords to identify growth opportunities.
  • • Build and optimize product detail pages, titles, bullets, and attributes for SEO and conversion.
  • • QA site content, links, pricing, and promotions and open tickets for fixes.
  • • Provide customer support escalation on product, policy, and shipping inquiries.
  • • Plan or coordinate product photography and post-production; enforce brand standards.
  • • Validate tax settings, shipping methods, and fees; troubleshoot exceptions.
  • • Enforce PCI, fraud, and data privacy practices and escalate risks.
  • • Manage catalogs, redirects, sitemaps, and tagging for discontinued or new items.
  • • Prepare weekly sales, margin, and inventory reports and dashboards.
  • • Maintain marketplace storefronts and content (e.g., Amazon, eBay) and ensure compliance.
  • • Support A/B testing and personalization initiatives and document results.
  • • Assist with budgeting and forecasting for promotions and inventory.
  • • Maintain SOPs and process documentation for e-commerce operations.
