Description
Provide executive-level administrative support to the general counsel and senior attorneys using legal terminology, procedures, and documents. Draft, proofread, and manage legal correspondence and documents; coordinate complex calendars and meetings; and oversee travel, expenses, and confidential records. May also assist with targeted legal research and coordination with clients, outside counsel, and executives.
  • • Coordinate distribution of executive legal correspondence to clients, courts, and outside counsel.
  • • Manage phones and communications for legal leadership.
  • • Oversee complex calendars, meetings, and board sessions.
  • • Prepare and assemble briefing books, copies, and meeting materials.
  • • Maintain digital and physical matter files, contracts, and law library resources.
  • • Gather information and documents from departments, agencies, and third parties.
  • • Prepare agendas, take minutes, and track action items for legal meetings, hearings, and depositions.
  • • Draft executive memos, letters, and presentation materials.
  • • Monitor legal publications and databases; perform targeted research as requested.
  • • Summarize research and circulate updates for attorney review and decisions.
  • • Complete and file forms and applications, including subpoenas, requests, and compliance documents.
  • • Process e-billing, invoices, expenses, and budget trackers for the legal department.
  • • Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents and agreements; manage signatures and filings.
  • • Arrange complex travel, conferences, and event logistics for legal executives.
