Start/stop pumps and compressors, line up valves, and coordinate field crews to deliver products safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations.
- • Monitor SCADA, meters, and pressure/flow gauges to track throughput, temperatures, and pressures.
- • Adjust setpoints, regulators, and valves to maintain specified pressures, flows, and line pack.
- • Start and stop pumps, compressors, and auxiliary systems; configure stations and segments for scheduled movements.
- • Read custody-transfer meters and tank levels; record receipts, deliveries, and imbalances.
- • Log instrument readings, alarms, and operational changes per procedures.
- • Regulate pressures and flows using controllers, switches, and remote commands.
- • Respond to alarms and abnormal conditions; troubleshoot remotely or dispatch and guide field crews.
- • Collect product samples or coordinate lab analysis to verify quality and moisture/sulfur or odorant levels.
- • Inspect equipment, perform minor adjustments, and coordinate lubrication, filter changes, and repairs with technicians.
- • Prepare and submit daily shift, operational, and regulatory reports.
