Description
Operate and monitor amusement rides to ensure safe, efficient, and enjoyable guest experiences. Perform pre-operation checks, secure restraints, load and unload guests, enforce rules, communicate instructions, and respond to stoppages and emergencies; may verify tickets and provide ride information.
- • Operate ride controls and monitor ride cycles for safe operation.
- • Conduct pre-opening inspections and functional tests of rides.
- • Fasten and check safety restraints and verify height and health requirements.
- • Load and unload guests and assist with accessibility needs.
- • Provide clear safety instructions and boarding guidelines.
- • Monitor queue and platform areas to ensure rule compliance and guest safety.
- • Enforce queue, boarding, and seating procedures and manage line flow.
- • Verify, collect, or scan tickets, wristbands, or ride passes.
- • Keep informed of and execute shutdown and emergency evacuation procedures.
- • Respond to ride stoppages and assist with evacuations as directed.
- • Inspect equipment for wear or damage, perform minor adjustments or cleaning, and report issues.
- • Record ride checks, attendance, incidents, and maintenance notes.
- • Clean and sanitize ride vehicles, platforms, and surrounding areas.
- • Announce boarding, height, and safety messages and answer guest questions.
- • Direct guests to rides, exits, lockers, or nearby attractions.
- • Coordinate with supervisors, maintenance, and attendants via radio or hand signals.
