Description
Perform attending duties at a bowling center, including scheduling lanes, issuing shoes and balls, assisting with scoring, selling concessions, and maintaining a safe, clean facility.
- • Greet guests and provide information on pricing, lane availability, leagues, and rules.
- • Take reservations and assign lanes; manage waitlists and lane rotations.
- • Ring up games, shoe rentals, food, and accessories; handle cash and POS transactions.
- • Issue and fit bowling shoes; help guests select appropriate house balls and ramps.
- • Guide patrons to assigned lanes, party areas, lockers, and restrooms.
- • Explain scoring systems, bumper controls, and lane etiquette; assist with score corrections.
- • Monitor lanes for safety and proper conduct; address or escalate disruptive behavior.
- • Assist children, seniors, and guests with disabilities with ramps and lane access.
- • Check in league teams and parties; verify reservations, packages, or wristbands.
- • Clean and sanitize shoes, balls, ball returns, seating, tables, and restrooms.
- • Reset pins or scoring as needed; clear ball or pin jams safely and promptly.
- • Inspect lanes, gutters, and equipment for wear or damage; perform minor adjustments and report issues.
- • Maintain inventories of shoes, balls, rental gear, and supplies; restock and organize.
- • Promote specials, leagues, birthday parties, and events in person or over the PA.
- • Serve snacks and beverages; verify customer age for alcohol where permitted.
- • Follow opening, closing, cash-handling, and emergency evacuation procedures.
- • Record attendance, reservations, sales, shoe rentals, and maintenance logs.
