Description
Assist in delivering recreation programs and operating facilities. Schedule and monitor use of spaces, issue and maintain equipment, support activities and events, provide customer service, and ensure a safe, clean environment.
  • • Provide information about programs, facilities, schedules, and rules.
  • • Register participants and process fees, passes, or memberships.
  • • Record attendance, reservations, payments, and incident or maintenance logs.
  • • Monitor activities for safety and rule compliance; address issues or escalate.
  • • Follow and communicate emergency and evacuation procedures.
  • • Clean and sanitize equipment, rooms, and program areas.
  • • Assist participants with equipment fitting and proper use of gear.
  • • Inspect equipment and spaces; report damage and perform minor upkeep.
  • • Operate or explain recreation equipment and systems, such as scoreboards or fitness machines.
  • • Issue, rent, or sell recreational equipment and supplies.
  • • Direct patrons to rooms, fields, courts, or activity areas.
  • • Provide assistance with accessibility needs and activity entry or exit.
  • • Schedule and confirm facility, field, or court reservations.
  • • Maintain inventories; store, retrieve, assemble, and break down equipment.
  • • Open and close facilities; secure areas and prepare spaces for use.
  • • Provide basic first aid and complete incident reports as required.
  • • Assist instructors or leaders in running activities, camps, or leagues.
