Description
Operate rides and games, sell tickets and concessions, and assist guests at amusement parks or carnivals. Ensure safety, enforce rules, perform basic equipment checks, and keep attractions and guest areas clean.
  • • Provide information about attractions, wait times, and park rules.
  • • Record attendance, sales, ticket counts, incidents, and maintenance logs.
  • • Monitor queues and activities to enforce safety procedures and remove unruly patrons when needed.
  • • Sell tickets or wristbands and collect fees using POS systems.
  • • Follow shutdown and emergency evacuation procedures and assist during drills.
  • • Clean rides, vehicles, booths, and surrounding areas.
  • • Promote attractions and games by announcing features and inviting guests to participate.
  • • Fasten and check safety restraints; instruct guests on proper use.
  • • Inspect rides and game equipment for wear or damage; perform minor adjustments and lubrication.
  • • Operate and explain mechanical rides, games, or automated attractions.
  • • Verify height, health, and ticket or wristband requirements before admitting guests.
  • • Direct guests to rides, entrances, seats, or exits.
  • • Assist guests when boarding and exiting rides or boats and with mobility devices.
  • • Sell and serve refreshments or merchandise at concessions when assigned.
  • • Maintain inventories of tickets, prizes, and supplies; restock, store, and retrieve items.
  • • Report hazards or malfunctions to supervisors and remove attractions from service when necessary.
  • • Manage line flow and dispatch intervals to maintain capacity and safety.
