Description
Assist with daily operations of a swimming pool facility, including guest check-in, scheduling, towel and equipment service, cleanliness, and support for rules and safety compliance. May test water quality, set up pool furniture and lanes, and assist with concessions or events.
- • Provide information about pool hours, amenities, programs, and rules.
- • Greet and check in guests; verify memberships, wristbands, or day passes.
- • Record attendance, towel issuance and returns, rentals, reservations, and incident logs.
- • Monitor deck and locker areas for rule compliance and safety; escalate issues to lifeguards or management.
- • Collect fees for day passes, locker rentals, cabanas, and classes.
- • Stay current on weather closures, contamination response, and emergency evacuation procedures.
- • Clean and sanitize pool deck, lounge chairs, tables, railings, showers, and locker and restroom areas.
- • Announce lane changes, closures, and upcoming classes or events.
- • Issue, fit, and retrieve life jackets and swim aids per policy.
- • Inspect furniture, umbrellas, lane lines, and handrails; perform minor adjustments and report damage.
- • Test and log water chemistry, such as chlorine and pH, as directed; report imbalances.
- • Set up and break down lane lines, umbrellas, shade structures, and furniture.
- • Rent, sell, or issue towels, goggles, swim caps, and locker keys.
- • Control capacity and manage queue lines to prevent overcrowding.
- • Direct patrons to lap lanes, family areas, cabanas, and locker rooms.
- • Provide assistance to guests using steps or pool lifts when trained and authorized.
- • Support snack bar or poolside concessions and serve refreshments when needed.
