Description
Assist visitors at museums, cultural sites, and attractions by greeting and checking in guests, selling and scanning tickets or memberships, directing visitors to exhibits and amenities, handling lost-and-found, and providing information and basic safety support.
- • Welcome visitors and provide a friendly first point of contact.
- • Sell, scan, and verify tickets, reservations, and memberships using POS devices.
- • Provide wayfinding to exhibits, amenities, and local attractions.

- • Reconcile daily admissions, attendance counts, and cash or credit transactions.
- • Maintain a neat lobby and front desk; report maintenance or safety issues.
- • Coordinate with security, retail, and facilities teams to ensure smooth operations.
- • Assist with merchandise or guidebook sales and manage small inventory at the desk.
- • Lead short orientation talks or tours and answer questions about exhibits.
- • Page visitors or staff for announcements, group departures, or assistance.
- • Support special events by staffing entrances, coat check, or registration.
- • Help schedule, train, or direct volunteers and docents during shifts.
