Description
Welcome and assist patrons in venue lobbies by verifying entry credentials, providing directions and information, managing lines and crowd flow, distributing programs, addressing concerns, supporting accessibility needs, and maintaining a safe, orderly, and clean lobby environment, including during emergencies.
  • • Greet arriving patrons and offer assistance.
  • • Check and scan tickets or passes at lobby entrances.
  • • Verify ticket authenticity and event date or time.
  • • Direct patrons to seating sections, restrooms, concessions, and other amenities.
  • • Manage lobby lines and crowd flow before, during, and after events.
  • • Provide accessibility assistance, including wheelchairs and elevator access.
  • • Enforce venue policies and safety rules in lobby areas.
  • • Refuse entry to persons without valid tickets or who violate policies, escalating as needed.
  • • Distribute programs, playbills, or event materials.
  • • Answer questions and provide information about the event schedule or local attractions.
  • • Assist with lost and found items and reunite lost patrons or children with their parties.
  • • Guide patrons to exits and assist during evacuations or other emergencies.
  • • Monitor lobby cleanliness; spot clean spills and coordinate housekeeping.
  • • Manage informational kiosks, wayfinding, and lobby signage.
  • • Issue and track door checks for patrons temporarily exiting.
  • • Count and record tickets collected or scanned at lobby points.
  • • Page individuals or coordinate with the box office for will-call or seating issues.
  • • Help resolve seating or ticketing disputes at lobby doors.
  • • Coordinate with security, ushers, and box office staff via radio or phone.
  • • Set up, adjust, or remove lobby stanchions, posters, and promotional displays.
