Description
Welcome and control entry at venue doors by checking tickets and IDs, managing queues, assisting guests with directions and accessibility, monitoring capacity and safety, and coordinating re-entry and incident response.
- • Greet guests and open doors to welcome arrivals.
- • Provide directions to seating sections, restrooms, concessions, and exits.
- • Manage entry lines and flow at entrances and exits.
- • Examine and scan tickets or passes to verify validity and date.
- • Check IDs for age-restricted events and apply wristbands or stamps.
- • Sell or collect admission tickets and verify memberships when applicable.
- • Refuse entry to persons without valid credentials or who violate policies.

- • Communicate via radio with ushers, box office, and operations.
- • Page individuals to the door or relay messages from the box office.
