Description
Provide close personal protection for clients by assessing threats, planning and executing secure movements, and monitoring environments to prevent harm or intrusion. Coordinate travel and access, operate protective equipment and communications, and liaise with security and law enforcement.
- • Conduct advance assessments of venues, routes, and lodgings to identify risks and mitigation options.
- • Escort clients using close-protection formations while maintaining constant situational awareness.
- • Plan, drive, and adjust secure routes in response to changing threats, crowds, and traffic.
- • Screen individuals, vehicles, and packages near the client; control access using handheld detectors when needed.
- • Monitor crowds and threat indicators to detect surveillance, stalking, or unusual behavior.
- • Coordinate with law enforcement, venue security, and drivers to synchronize protective movements.
- • De-escalate confrontations and discreetly evacuate clients from emerging hazards.
- • Operate radios and surveillance tools; maintain secure communications and protective gear.
- • Write activity logs and incident reports; brief clients and team on risks and procedures.
- • Respond to medical emergencies with basic first aid and facilitate rapid EMS access.
- • Manage travel itineraries, credentials, and secure entry to buildings, events, and vehicles.
- • Conduct countersurveillance and vary routines to reduce predictability and exposure.
- • Inspect and secure residences, offices, and vehicles for tampering or hazards; oversee entry and exit.
- • Maintain confidentiality and protect client privacy in all operations and communications.
