Description
Protect and transport currency, coin, and other valuables in armored vehicles, conducting secure pickups and deliveries while maintaining chain-of-custody and deterring theft or violence. Operate firearms and security equipment, follow route and safety protocols, and coordinate with clients, dispatch, and law enforcement.
- • Drive and ride in armored vehicles to move valuables between clients, ATMs, and vaults.
- • Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining situational awareness.
- • Load and unload shipments; verify seals, counts, and documentation; maintain chain-of-custody.
- • Control access to vehicle and cargo areas; verify customer authorization and obtain signatures.
- • Monitor surroundings at stops to deter theft or robbery.
- • Respond to alarms, duress signals, or disturbances and coordinate with dispatch and law enforcement.
- • Complete route logs, transfer receipts, incident reports, and discrepancy reports.
- • Operate radios, GPS, cameras, and electronic locks to communicate and secure cargo.
- • Carry and handle firearms per policy; use de-escalation and force only when necessary.
- • Service and replenish ATMs as assigned, including cassette swaps and clearing minor jams.
- • Inspect armored vehicle, locks, seals, and safety equipment before and after routes; note tampering.
- • Secure vehicle doors, cargo compartments, vault rooms, and customer safes per procedures.
- • Adhere to DOT and company safety rules; use PPE and proper lifting techniques for heavy loads.
- • Provide basic first aid and request EMS in the event of injuries, accidents, or assaults.
