Description
Provide armed protection by patrolling and monitoring premises to deter theft, violence, and rule violations; control access, respond to threats and emergencies, and coordinate with law enforcement while maintaining firearm proficiency and compliance with use-of-force policies.
- • Conduct armed patrols of premises to deter and detect intrusion, ensuring security of doors, windows, and gates.
- • Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances, escalating appropriately under use-of-force policy.
- • Control access by screening and authorizing entrants, including bag checks and metal detector operations.
- • Document daily activities, incidents, and use-of-force events with clear, timely reports.
- • Notify and coordinate with police, fire, or EMS during emergencies and preserve the scene for investigators.
- • Maintain visible presence among patrons and staff to preserve order and protect people and property.
- • Provide armed protection and secure transport for executives, employees, or valuables as assigned.
- • Deter, warn, and when necessary detain or eject violators, employing de-escalation and lawful force.
- • Inspect and maintain firearms, duty gear, and security equipment to ensure readiness and compliance.
- • Conduct active-threat/armed intruder response per training and incident command protocols.
- • Perform post checks of CCTV, alarms, and access control systems; detect tampering or failures.
- • Secure facilities by locking entrances/exits and conducting opening/closing procedures.
- • Render basic first aid and coordinate medical response until paramedics arrive.
- • Complete required training, licensing, and range qualifications and adhere to post orders and SOPs.
