Description
Capture and verify data from paper and digital sources using keyboards, scanners, and imaging systems. Validate accuracy and completeness, index records, and prepare documents for scanning or system upload.
  • • Read source documents such as forms, invoices, or reports and capture data into designated fields using keyboards, scanners, or import tools.
  • • Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy and completeness of data before entry.
  • • Compare entered data with source records or validation rules to detect and correct errors.
  • • Store and index completed records and images in appropriate repositories.
  • • Identify, correct, or escalate data discrepancies and missing fields according to procedures.
  • • Maintain logs of batches, exceptions, and completed work.
  • • Select and prepare materials for capture, including sorting, removing staples, and batching documents.
  • • Operate and load capture equipment and software, such as scanners, imaging systems, or data import queues.
  • • Follow data security, privacy, and quality standards when handling confidential information.
