Evaluate and manage credit risk for individual and commercial customers. Analyze credit applications and financial data to determine creditworthiness, set credit limits, and authorize or decline credit. Communicate decisions, monitor account performance, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • • Maintain accurate credit files, account histories, and payment records.
  • • Compile and analyze credit data, financial statements, and bureau reports.
  • • Source credit information from bureaus, banks, trade references, and public records.
  • • Interview applicants to verify identity, employment, and financial details.
  • • Assess creditworthiness and approve, decline, or condition credit per policy.
  • • Set and adjust credit limits, terms, and collateral requirements.
  • • Review and process credit applications from sales channels and online systems.
  • • Communicate credit decisions, terms, and limits to customers and internal teams.
  • • Verify public-record information such as liens, judgments, and bankruptcies.
  • • Prepare written credit memos, risk ratings, and recommendations.
  • • Monitor account performance and portfolio risk; flag exceptions and trends.
  • • Collaborate with Accounts Receivable and Collections to resolve delinquencies.
  • • Resolve customer inquiries and disputes related to credit transactions.
  • • Identify potential fraud and escalate for investigation.
  • • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
  • • Provide periodic reports and insights to management on credit KPIs.
