Description
Evaluate and process credit card applications; authorize transactions and credit line changes; and maintain cardholder accounts. Investigate applicants' credit history, verify identity and income, and determine creditworthiness using established underwriting standards. Communicate decisions, support card issuance and account maintenance, and resolve disputes, fraud, and delinquencies in compliance with regulations.
  • • Evaluate and decision credit card applications using underwriting standards and risk models.
  • • Compile and analyze credit bureau, income, and identity data to determine creditworthiness.
  • • Obtain and verify information from credit bureaus, banks, employers, and verification services.
  • • Interview applicants by phone or digital channels to confirm identity, employment, and income.
  • • Communicate approvals, declines, and adverse action reasons to applicants.
  • • Authorize or decline transactions, credit line increases, and account changes per policy.
  • • Monitor accounts for fraud or unusual activity and escalate or block as needed.
  • • Process card issuance, replacements, and PIN or activation requests.
  • • Ensure accurate posting of transactions, payments, fees, and credits to cardholder accounts.
  • • Resolve cardholder inquiries, disputes, and chargebacks in coordination with merchants and networks.
  • • Verify address, bankruptcy, and public record information using approved tools and data sources.
  • • Prepare and deliver required disclosures and ensure statement accuracy.
  • • Review delinquent accounts and coordinate with collections or hardship programs.
  • • Maintain complete records and documentation of decisions, verifications, and communications.
  • • Prepare periodic reports on application volumes, approvals, risk metrics, and losses.
  • • Ensure compliance with FCRA, ECOA, Reg Z, UDAAP, and card network rules.
