Description
Plan, direct, and coordinate an engineering group’s projects, people, and processes across design, development, and operations to meet technical, quality, and business goals.
- • Align group objectives, roadmaps, and KPIs with business strategy.
- • Manage planning and execution of engineering projects across the group.
- • Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
- • Review and approve technical designs, design changes, and key deliverables.
- • Develop and enforce engineering standards, methods, and quality procedures.
- • Prepare and manage budgets, resource plans, bids, and vendor contracts.
- • Assess feasibility, risks, and resourcing for proposed initiatives.
- • Present proposals, status, and findings to executives and clients.
- • Partner with product, operations, and manufacturing on specifications and procedures.
- • Consult and negotiate scope, priorities, and SLAs with stakeholders.
- • Recruit, develop, and evaluate engineers; manage performance and succession.
- • Foster a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- • Implement sustainability practices and monitor environmental impacts where applicable.
- • Monitor regulatory requirements and industry standards; ensure adherence.
- • Track metrics and dashboards for delivery, quality, and reliability.
- • Oversee change control, configuration management, and documentation.
- • Approve expenditures and procurements; manage vendor performance.
- • Engage regulators, officials, and community stakeholders to secure approvals and support.
- • Coordinate field data collection, surveys, and integration with project plans.
