Plan, direct, and coordinate architectural design and project delivery, leading teams, budgets, and client relationships from concept through construction.
  • • Confer with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to align on project scope, specifications, and procedures.
  • • Plan and direct design production, QA/QC reviews, code compliance, permitting, and construction administration.
  • • Present and explain proposals, design options, reports, and findings to clients and executives.
  • • Consult and negotiate with clients to define program requirements and prepare project specifications.
  • • Develop and implement sustainability strategies to reduce environmental impacts and improve building performance.
  • • Evaluate building codes, zoning, accessibility, and environmental regulations to guide design and delivery decisions.
  • • Assess project environmental impacts, energy performance, and material choices.
  • • Identify opportunities and risks in adopting new building technologies, materials, and digital tools.
  • • Manage coordination of architectural, structural, MEP, landscape, and specialty consultant work.
  • • Direct, review, and approve design changes, RFIs, and submittals.
  • • Prepare and manage fees, budgets, schedules, bids, and contract documentation.
  • • Assess project feasibility by analyzing sites, program, resources, and market or client drivers.
  • • Lead recruitment, staffing, mentoring, and performance evaluation for the architecture team.
  • • Review and approve consultant proposals, contracts, and cost estimates.
  • • Establish and enforce office standards, QA/QC procedures, BIM/CAD protocols, and documentation practices.
  • • Oversee administrative tasks, including reporting, budget approvals, resource planning, and compliance.
  • • Set design vision, technical goals, and delivery strategies aligned with firm and client objectives.
  • • Engage with permitting authorities, code officials, and community stakeholders to secure approvals and project support.
  • • Plan and coordinate site analysis, surveys, geotechnical, and environmental studies with project activities.
