Plan and sell transportation and lodging for clients. Determine destinations, travel dates, budgets, and travel modes; arrange itineraries and tour packages; issue tickets; and assist with travel problems.
- • Process payments for transportation and accommodations from clients.
- • Consult with clients to determine destination, transportation mode, travel dates, budget, and accommodations.
- • Calculate trip and lodging costs using computer systems and rate guides; quote package prices.
- • Book transportation and hotel reservations using computer or telephone.
- • Plan, describe, arrange, and sell itinerary tour packages and promotional travel offers.
- • Provide clients with brochures and travel information, including local customs, points of interest, and regulations.
- • Issue or request transportation tickets and confirmations through carrier systems.
- • Record and maintain client, vendor, and travel package information.
