  • • Qualify project scope with sales and gather load, utility, and site data from prospects.
  • • Prepare detailed proposals, quotes, and bid packages with itemized pricing and assumptions.
  • • Select equipment and size systems based on energy needs, site conditions, codes, and budget.
  • • Assess sites for solar suitability using tape measures, compasses, photos, and software.
  • • Model energy production and savings considering climate, shading, tilt, and orientation.
  • • Develop system layouts and energy solutions tailored to customer loads and budgets.
  • • Maintain pricing tools and estimating templates, including incentives and financing options.
  • • Collect and review utility bills and site information to identify customer needs.
  • • Prepare or verify design drawings, specifications, and bills of materials for estimates.
  • • Provide customers with cost breakdowns, timelines, warranties, incentives, and ROI analyses.
  • • Explain technical details of solar systems, equipment, and services to customers or dealers.
  • • Respond to quote requests and change orders; update estimates accordingly.
  • • Coordinate handoffs with engineering, permitting, and installation teams to confirm scope and costs.
