Description
Lead, plan, and coordinate community services and outreach programs for a city or nonprofit. Oversee budgets, compliance, and policies governing eligibility, service delivery, and benefits to ensure quality and equitable access. Supervise managers, social workers, counselors, and partner agencies to meet community needs and strategic goals.
- • Build and maintain partnerships with agencies, nonprofits, and city departments to address community needs and avoid service duplication.

- • Assess legislative and regulatory changes and lead operational responses to ensure compliance and continuity of services.
- • Advise internal teams and partner agencies on interpreting federal, state, and local program regulations and policies.
- • Oversee grant strategy, fundraising initiatives, and public communications and outreach materials.
- • Resolve escalated client issues and ensure effective referral pathways and complaint resolution.
- • Design and evaluate training and professional development for staff, volunteers, and community partners.
