Description
Lead and optimize inside sales operations to drive revenue through phone, email, and digital channels. Set territories, quotas, and sales processes; hire, train, and coach inside reps; and manage pipeline, forecasting, and pricing. Use CRM analytics to evaluate sales potential, align with marketing on lead generation, and ensure timely order processing and customer experience.
  • • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
  • • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
  • • Direct and coordinate inside sales activities across phone, email, and web channels.
  • • Determine price schedules, discount rates, and quoting guidelines for inside deals.
  • • Review CRM reports and operational records to forecast sales and assess profitability.
  • • Oversee order entry, quoting, and CRM record-keeping to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • • Partner with marketing to plan campaigns and align on lead qualification criteria and SLAs.
  • • Advise dealers, resellers, or partners on policies and procedures to improve sell-through.
  • • Prepare and manage the inside sales budget and approve expenditures.
  • • Represent the company via webinars, virtual events, and digital forums to promote products.
  • • Plan staffing levels and direct training and performance evaluations for inside sales teams.
  • • Run call blitzes and outbound cadences to generate and accelerate pipeline.
  • • Conduct discovery calls and virtual demos to assess needs and recommend solutions.
  • • Supervise team leads and account executives; track daily activity and KPIs.
  • • Maintain CRM hygiene and lead pipeline reviews, forecasting cadence, and deal progression.
  • • Coordinate coverage across time zones and inbound/outbound queues to meet response-time goals.
  • • Analyze lead sources, customer segments, and territory performance to optimize investments.
