Description
Plan, direct, and coordinate operations of a Remote Encoding Center, supervising employees who extract address data from mail images to meet throughput, accuracy, security, and service objectives.
  • • Organize and supervise the keying of address data from mail images.
  • • Direct and coordinate daily Remote Encoding Center operations, staffing, and support services.
  • • Monitor productivity, queue backlogs, and accuracy; implement corrective actions.
  • • Resolve operational escalations and service issues with mail processing partners.
  • • Hire, onboard, and train encoders and shift leads; evaluate performance.
  • • Prepare employee work schedules and assign queues and workstations.
  • • Prepare and submit operational, quality, and throughput reports to management.
  • • Coordinate with IT and maintenance to resolve system outages and equipment issues.
  • • Enforce data security, privacy, and postal regulations in the center.
  • • Conduct quality audits, feedback sessions, and remedial training.
  • • Track attendance and approve timecards for payroll.
  • • Forecast workload and plan staffing, overtime, and contingency coverage.
  • • Requisition supplies and peripherals and manage vendor bids per federal rules.
