Plan, direct, and coordinate operational, administrative, and support services for a USPS Remote Encoding Center, overseeing staff who key address data from mail images to enable automated mail processing.
- • Organize and supervise encoding of mail images and verification of address data to support automated processing.
- • Direct and coordinate operational, management, and support services across center shifts.
- • Resolve service issues and customer complaints related to encoding accuracy and delivery impacts.
- • Hire, onboard, and train encoding operators and supervisors; evaluate performance and provide coaching.
- • Prepare employee work schedules and shift rosters aligned to volume forecasts.
- • Prepare and submit production, quality, staffing, and cost reports to designated leadership.

- • Select and develop team leads and unit managers for encoding operations.
- • Confer with vendors and IT to procure and maintain equipment and software; manage requisitions and funds per federal regulations.
- • Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and payroll records for accuracy.
- • Implement quality assurance, safety, and continuous improvement programs to meet throughput and error-rate targets.
