Lead and manage a U.S. post office, directing daily operations, retail and delivery services, staffing, budgeting, compliance, and customer service to ensure timely, secure, and efficient mail processing.
  • • Direct and supervise processing of incoming and outgoing mail and parcels.
  • • Oversee retail operations, delivery routes, and customer service counters.
  • • Resolve customer complaints and service issues.
  • • Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate employees.
  • • Plan and manage employee work schedules and assignments.
  • • Prepare, analyze, and submit operational and financial reports.
  • • Administer local labor relations and address employee grievances per policy.
  • • Manage post office box rentals, assignments, and rent collections.
  • • Authorize and reconcile money orders, refunds, and other financial transactions.
  • • Inform the public about services, rates, and postal laws and regulations.
