Description
Oversee and inspect rehabilitation construction on government-owned or publicly assisted properties to ensure work meets contract specifications, building codes, safety standards, and funding regulations.
- • Prepare scopes of work, cost estimates, correspondence, inspection reports, and recommendations for corrective action.
- • Review plans, permits, contractor submittals, pay applications, and change orders to detect discrepancies.
- • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with building codes, safety practices, labor standards, and program requirements.
- • Document site conditions with photos, measurements, and daily logs to maintain thorough compliance records.
- • Inspect materials and workmanship for compliance with specifications, codes, and quality standards.
- • Coordinate with building officials, housing program staff, contractors, and environmental consultants.
- • Provide testimony or documentation in hearings, appeals, or disputes related to project compliance.
