Description
Inspect contractor performance, deliverables, and property to verify compliance with contract terms, standards, and applicable regulations.
- • Prepare inspection reports, correspondence, and recommendations for corrective action.
- • Examine contracts, plans, records, and invoices to verify compliance and detect discrepancies.
- • Monitor corrective actions and contractor responses to ensure timely resolution and adherence to policy.
- • Collect, document, and preserve inspection evidence, photos, and chain-of-custody records.
- • Inspect products, services, or processes against contract specifications and regulatory requirements.
- • Coordinate with procurement, program, quality, and legal staff; escalate suspected fraud to law enforcement when required.
- • Testify or provide statements in audits, disputes, or administrative proceedings regarding inspection findings.
- • Inspect client- or government-owned property in contractor custody for proper use, care, and accountability.
- • Recommend remedies such as cure notices, withholds, rework, or termination to protect client interests.
- • Submit samples or materials to approved laboratories for independent testing, when required.
- • Inspect worksites, facilities, or deliverables for safety, quality, and schedule compliance.
- • Investigate alleged noncompliance, permit, or certification violations affecting contract performance.
- • Verify contractor licenses, insurance, security clearances, and permits required by the contract.
