Description
Conduct high-volume outbound and inbound phone outreach to solicit donations and pledges, present the organization’s mission, answer questions, and process gifts while updating donor records and meeting campaign goals in compliance with telemarketing and privacy regulations.
  • • Track and report personal and campaign performance metrics to supervisors.
  • • Make high-volume outbound and inbound calls to solicit donations or pledges.
  • • Use approved call scripts to present the mission and fundraising needs.
  • • Explain tax-deductible benefits and employer gift-matching options.
  • • Qualify prospects, build rapport, and identify giving capacity and interests.
  • • Secure commitments for one-time gifts, monthly donations, or event participation.
  • • Process credit card or ACH donations securely and accurately.
  • • Guide callers to online donation pages or text-to-give options.
  • • Handle objections, answer FAQs, and resolve donor concerns during calls.
  • • Schedule and complete callbacks, pledge reminders, and stewardship touches.
  • • Update CRM and donor databases with call outcomes and contact details.
  • • Segment call lists and research prospects to improve conversion rates.
  • • Meet or exceed daily call volume, contact, pledge, and revenue targets.
  • • Collaborate with team leads to refine scripts, offers, and call strategies.
  • • Comply with telemarketing laws, do-not-call rules, and organizational policies.
  • • Protect donor privacy and payment data in line with PCI and confidentiality standards.
  • • Coordinate with digital or mail teams to align messaging and timing.
  • • Encourage upgrades, renewals, and reactivation of lapsed donors.
  • • Invite supporters to volunteer, attend events, or provide referrals.
  • • Trigger or send thank-you emails, receipts, and follow-up information.
  • • Maintain accurate time logs, call dispositions, and quality standards.
  • • Participate in training, role-plays, and coaching to improve performance.
  • • Assist with phone banks during campaigns, radiothons, or virtual events.
  • • Report donor feedback and trends to inform future campaigns.
