Description
Coordinate and execute annual giving programs that secure unrestricted support through direct mail, email, digital, phone, and giving day campaigns. Manage donor segmentation, solicitation calendars, stewardship, campaign materials, and reporting while supporting volunteer ambassadors to grow participation and revenue.
  • • Plan and implement annual giving campaigns across direct mail, email, phone, text, and social media.
  • • Build segmentation, gift arrays, and ask strings based on donor history and analytics.
  • • Create and update donor records; maintain accurate annual fund coding and tracking in the CRM.
  • • Develop solicitation calendars and project plans that maximize participation and ROI.
  • • Draft and produce appeal letters, emails, web pages, and Giving Day content.
  • • Coordinate digital giving pages and online donation workflows with web teams.
  • • Manage phonathon or call campaigns, including scripts, lists, and student caller or vendor oversight.
  • • Recruit, train, and support volunteer ambassadors or class agents.
  • • Establish and monitor annual fund goals, participation targets, and timelines.
  • • Track budgets, expenses, and invoice processing for annual giving activities.
  • • Monitor daily progress, response rates, and conversion metrics; adjust tactics.
  • • Identify, cultivate, and steward annual fund prospects and recurring donors.
  • • Solicit annual fund gifts through segmented appeals and personal outreach.
  • • Promote and process employer matching gifts; follow up to secure matches.
  • • Coordinate Giving Day logistics, challenges, and social media amplification.
  • • Plan and execute small stewardship and donor engagement events tied to the annual fund.
  • • Prepare mail files, pledge cards, remit envelopes, and fulfillment materials.
  • • Ensure timely acknowledgment letters, tax receipts, and stewardship touchpoints.
  • • Write talking points, brief updates, and promotional copy for internal partners and leadership.
  • • Conduct prospect research to inform segmentation and upgrade strategies.
  • • Collaborate with major gifts and alumni relations to manage referrals and donor pipeline.
  • • Maintain media and vendor contacts for printing, mail house, and digital platforms.
  • • Coordinate delivery and inventory of printed materials and donor premiums.
  • • Secure peer speakers or advocates for giving appeals and events.
  • • Send personalized thank-you notes and stewardship emails to donors.
  • • Produce dashboards, reports, and presentations on annual giving performance.
