Description
Plan, execute, and optimize fundraising events to generate revenue and awareness for an organization. Lead sponsorships, donor cultivation, event marketing, and logistics to meet goals and deliver mission-aligned experiences.
  • • Set up and manage online event pages, ticketing, and auctions.
  • • Plan and execute fundraising events such as galas, auctions, runs, and luncheons.
  • • Establish revenue, attendance, and engagement goals for each event.
  • • Develop event budgets, monitor expenses, and track ROI.
  • • Create event fundraising plans and timelines to maximize participation and minimize costs.
  • • Identify, solicit, and secure event sponsors, underwriters, and in-kind donors.
  • • Build relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners.
  • • Develop sponsorship packages, decks, and benefit fulfillment plans.
  • • Manage ticketing, registration, and seating or team assignments.
  • • Coordinate venues, vendors, catering, A/V, permits, and insurance.
  • • Direct day-of logistics, run-of-show, scripts, and troubleshooting.
  • • Recruit, train, and supervise event volunteers and temporary staff.
  • • Design or oversee production of event marketing materials, signage, and collateral.
  • • Develop and manage event marketing campaigns across email, social, and media.
  • • Write press releases and coordinate media outreach to promote events.
  • • Maintain and update donor and event attendee databases and records.
  • • Implement peer-to-peer and web-based fundraising tools for events.
  • • Monitor ticket sales, sponsorship pipelines, and fundraising progress.
  • • Explain tax-deductibility and benefits of contributions to donors and sponsors.
  • • Prepare bid sheets, gift bags, and other on-site materials.
  • • Procure auction items and manage silent/live auction operations and platforms.
  • • Secure speakers, honorees, entertainment, and emcees.
  • • Coordinate transportation and delivery of materials and donations.
  • • Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations, contracts, and venue policies.
  • • Collect, reconcile, and report event revenues; manage cash handling.
  • • Write and send stewardship and acknowledgment letters to event supporters.
  • • Produce post-event reports, presentations, and recommendations.
  • • Analyze attendee feedback and data to improve future events.
  • • Develop corporate engagement opportunities such as workplace teams or matching gifts for events.
  • • Develop and maintain media and vendor contact lists.
