Manage daily operations of a fitness facility and programs. Lead, schedule, and develop fitness staff to deliver safe, high-quality services, strong member results, and solid business performance.
  • • Track attendance, participation, and performance metrics for classes and training.
  • • Provide individual support in general fitness and basic nutrition as needed.
  • • Maintain or arrange maintenance of fitness equipment and facilities.
  • • Develop marketing campaigns and promotions to grow memberships and program participation.
  • • Conduct needs assessments or surveys to measure member interests and satisfaction.

  • • Organize and oversee fitness challenges, workshops, and community events.
  • • Demonstrate proper operation of fitness equipment and assessment devices.
  • • Manage fitness facilities to ensure safe, clean, and compliant operations.
  • • Maintain schedules, staff certifications, records, and reports.
  • • Conduct or facilitate training, onboarding, and continuing education for fitness staff.
  • • Ensure a diverse class portfolio across strength, cardio, mobility, and mind-body formats.
  • • Supervise fitness specialists, including instructors, trainers, and coaches.
  • • Develop and coordinate member onboarding, orientations, and fitness assessments.
  • • Analyze member, sales, and utilization data to tailor programs to target populations.
  • • Track revenue, expenses, and cost-containment initiatives to evaluate effectiveness.
  • • Use club management software and digital tools for scheduling, CRM, reporting, and online content.
  • • Evaluate programs, instructors, and services for effectiveness and member outcomes.
  • • Oversee personal training sales processes, goals, and trainer productivity.
  • • Implement risk management, emergency response, and incident reporting procedures.
